Agentic Onboarding and Continuous Monitoring
RiskPulse leverages AI agents to transform client onboarding from a fragmented process into a single, coordinated workflow, drastically reducing time and manual effort. This foundational baseline enables continuous, event-driven monitoring and an 80%+ reduction in investigation workload, providing examiner-ready audit trails and new commercial intelligence.

This white paper introduces RiskPulse, an agentic AI platform that rearchitects client onboarding and ongoing monitoring for financial institutions. It argues that today's onboarding is structurally fragmented, spanning 2–34 weeks, involving six or more teams and multiple disconnected systems, resulting in data re-entry, document chasing, inconsistent CDD/EDD, and the loss of up to 10% of prospective clients before activation.
The paper presents an alternative model in which autonomous agents orchestrate end-to-end onboarding: from intake and document collection to entity verification, sanctions/PEP/adverse media screening, corporate structure and BOI obligations, credit assessment, and final risk scoring, all executed as a single coordinated workflow. Humans are repositioned to decision and escalation points, while agents generate a structured, machine-readable baseline for every client from day one; covering entity profile, ownership network, jurisdictional risk, expected behavior, and counterparty relationships.
Building on this baseline, the white paper shows how the same agentic architecture enables continuous lifecycle monitoring, replacing calendar-based periodic reviews with event-driven reassessments. Agents periodically re-run targeted steps by risk tier and continuously ingest internal behavioral signals, external intelligence (adverse media, enforcement, sanctions changes), and network risk indicators, updating dynamic risk profiles with full reasoning chains and structured escalation paths from routine closure through SAR and potential relationship exit.
Finally, the paper describes the RiskPulse product implementation: a Plan–Examine–Report agent triad; configurable Action Plans for commercial corporates, funds, and institutional counterparties; tiered execution depth (L1–L3); and stack-agnostic integration with existing AML, KYC, screening, and case management systems via APIs. It quantifies impact as onboarding compression, an 80%+ reduction in manual investigation workload, 10× faster case resolution, and the conversion of monitoring outputs into examiner-ready audit trails and commercial intelligence for relationship managers—supported by a risk and mitigation framework for explainability, governance, and model oversight.
